OPS-416 Gas Piston Conversion System

If you own an M-16/AR-15/CAR-15/M4 rifle in either full or semi auto, then you have everything you need to use the Osprey Defense OPS-416 Gas Piston Conversion System. The OPS-416 Gas Piston Conversion System replaces the current gas tube and bolt carrier. Each OPS-416 kit will include all of the needed parts to complete the conversion. The great news is that the installation of the kit is NON-DESTRUCTIVE to the host weapon, which can be returned to it original status in about 10 minutes with simple bench tools.

The OPS-416 Gas Piston System fits most standard rifles with a barrel outer diameter equal to, or less than .8753 . The OPS-416 system is designed to fit under Colt factory profile handguards. Depending on the manufacturer and types of heat shields inside the handguards, the top shield may need to be removed. For this reason, each OPS-416 system will include a set of singe heat shield, M4 profile handguards. The OPS-416 system will fit under some popular handguards, but not all.
